Il est Camerounais. Depuis des ann\u00e9es, il vit aux Etat Unis. C\u2019est un homme de m\u00e9dia tr\u00e8s c\u00e9l\u00e8bre sur les continents africains et am\u00e9ricains. Il n\u2019 y a pas retraite pour lui qui s\u2019est install\u00e9 aux Etats Unis.Mais qui se sent africain parce que dit-il l\u2019Afrique vit en lui. Georges Collinet a fait les beaux jours de la radio La Voix de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique. Et a beaucoup de projet pour l\u2019Afrique. – <\/p>\n

C’est un professionnel averti qui a le regard résolument tourné vers l’afrique. Car c’est un africain. Un vrai et un dur avec son sourire légendaire très contagieux. C’est pour cela qu’il rêve de projet impressionnant pour les médias en Afrique : « J’ai une émission de télé aux Etats Unis qui marche bien. Une émission sur la musique et la culture africaine et la diaspora africaine. L’émission s’appelle Afro Pop World. Elle marche tellement bien que les propriétaires de chaînes m’ont demandé de penser et de faire des émissions et des projets sur l’Afrique. Si on veut faire de la qualité il faut mettre les moyens. C’est pour cela que j’essaie de toucher les dirigeants africains pour qu’ils m’aident mais ce n’est pas évident. Après tout c’est dans l’intérêt des pays africains. Je voulais une station de télé. Un peu CNN africain. Et c’est mon grand rêve. Evidemment c’est très cher. Douze milliards environ de f cfa. La chance que j’ai, c’est que je suis africain. Un africain d’une Afrique qui a inventé la communication : Le tam tam et ces sons. La communication coûte de l’argent. Et la communication de l’Afrique doit revenir à des gens qui connaissent l’Afrique et qui aiment l’afrique. Pas ces gens qu’on envoie en mission en Afrique qui se prennent pour des spécialistes de l’afrique. Moi l’Afrique je l’ai dans les tripes et dans la peau. Je suis l’Afrique, je vis l’Afrique mais je suis l’Amérique et aussi l’Europe. Je veux revenir en Afrique mais je ne veux pas avoir à faire à toutes ces intrigues. Je veux être tranquille et travailler en toute quiétude ».<\/p>\n
