La ville de Yerevan, capitale de l’Arménie, a honoré l’artiste Richard Bona, l’une des figures de proue du jazz, l’un des plus beaux legs de l’Afrique, dans le monde, à l’occasion de la Journée Internationale du Jazz, dont la ville, hôte des plus grandes figures de ce genre musical, en a fait un emblème et un événement majeur depuis de nombreuses années.<\/span><\/p>\n Après ses prestations au Complexe culturel et architectural dit " Cascade ", courues et suivies par un public nombreux d’amateurs, de spécialistes, de touristes venus des quatre coins de la planète, le bassiste réputé a été reçu à l’Hotel de Ville de Yerevan, où il a été fait citoyen d’honneur, après la visite du musée historique de la ville, écrin de pièces millénaires du patrimoine arménien.<\/p>\n Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan welcomed the jazz legend, the famous bass-guitarist Richard Bona who arrived in Yerevan to take part in the concert traditionally held on the International Jazz Day in the area of the cultural and architectural complex «Cascade». \nGreeting the guest and appreciating his role in jazz popularization Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that Yerevan has its jazz traditions which are highly appreciated worldwide.
\n«Every year many eminent musicians come to Yerevan at various events including the International Jazz Day. I am glad that you have visited our city for the second time and people will again have the opportunity to enjoy a jazz evening with your performance», said Taron Margaryan.
\nExpressing gratitude to the Mayor for warm welcome Richard Bona shred his impressions of Yerevan adding that Yerevan and the Armenian culture in general inspired him greatly and gave new creative ideas.
\n«During my two visits I didn’t have much time to get acquainted with the city because of being very busy. However what I’ve had time to see made Yerevan very dear to me. be sure, Mister Mayor, that it will be a great pleasure for me to visit Yerevan again.
