Le 20 mai 2005, il est decor&eacute; chevalier de l&rsquo;Ordre de la Valeur. 2007, il est fait ambassadeur de bonne volont&eacute; de Synergies africaines.<\/p>\n<p>Il reside &agrave; Douala, au quartier Mak&eacute;pe.<\/p>\n<p>Il a commenc&eacute; &agrave; jouer de la musique t&ocirc;t, mais a aussi &eacute;tudi&eacute; le droit &agrave; Paris. Petit Pays commence sa carri&egrave;re professionnelle &agrave; la fin des ann&eacute;es 1980, quand il s&rsquo;associe avec le producteur Eyab&eacute; Kwedi. Il a &eacute;crit des centaines de chansons dont certaines sont devenus populaires au Cameroun et en Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest.
