Mission

Noah Andzongo’s mission is to preserve and promote Cameroon ‘s history and traditions through the art of music, dance and storytelling. Through the platform of the arts he is able to provide an understanding and appreciation of another culture. Noah is dedicated to providing quality and inspiring educational performances and workshops to people of all ages and ethnicities.

Noah Andzongo is a performer, choreographer & educator trained in the art of traditional & contemporary dance of Cameroon. He began his professional career under the direction & guidance of Kengmo, internationally renowned performing artist, educator & member of the Royal Council of Nine (Keepers of Traditions). Noah has trained with the highly respected Alphonse Tierou; researcher, historian, contemporary African dancer & choreographer. Furthering his studies in Zaire, Noah was deeply influenced by the Congolese style of Mutuashi & would later establish “Loketo” with Dinganga, one of the great performers of the Mutuashi. Noah was principal dancer with the National Ballet of Cameroon & Le Baobab.  He has produced choreographic works for Esuah, Africa Labina & Loketo dance companies. Noah has toured extensively with the National Ballet of Cameroon; Esuah & Le Baobab, demonstrating his artistry throughout Europe, Central & West Africa.
